French Toast

8 slices bread (See Bread Recipes)

4 eggs treated

¼ cup milk

1/8 teaspoon Relief OR ½ teaspoon DigestEasy

1 teaspoon Sri Lankan cinnamon powder (Cinnamonum verum)

2 tablespoons sugar

½ teaspoon pure vanilla extract

4 tablespoons salt-reduced butter

 

Whisk together eggs, Biohawk product of choice, cinnamon, sugar, milk,
and vanilla and pour into shallow dish.  Dip bread into egg mixture allowing excess egg to drain off before putting it into a heated fry pan with the butter melted and frying until golden brown, then flip and cook the other side to golden brown.

Serve with:

  • Warmed maple syrup, or
  • Slices of banana pre-treated with a dusting of Relief and a little rice bran oil with a dob of thick cream or high quality yoghurt, mixed with Relief, or
  • Stewed apple and rhubarb treated with some Relief, with a dob of thick cream or high quality yoghurt, mixed with Relief, or
  • Strawberries cut in half and treated with Relief and cooked gently with a sugar syrup, with a dob of thick cream or high quality yoghurt, mixed with Relief.
