Bircher Muesli

100g traditional rolled oats

75mL water

50mL apple juice

1 teaspoon DigestEasy OR ¼ teaspoon Relief

1 Granny Smith apple peeled, cored and grated

2 teaspoons lemon juice

½ mango, diced OR some other fruit such as strawberries

½ banana, cut in half lengthways, and thinly sliced

Milk or yoghurt to taste

Honey to taste

Berries to sprinkle over muesli

DigestEasy OR Relief to treat milk, yoghurt and fruit

 

Measure and mix the water and apple juice and add to the oats. 
Stir in the ginger and cover the bowl. Leave overnight in fridge.

Grate the apple into the oats and wet the apple with the lemon juice.  Treat the fruit where necessary with the DigestEasy or Relief and add to the oats.
Mix the fruit and oats and then add milk and/or yoghurt to taste after it has been treated with DigestEasy or Relief. Sweeten to taste with the honey and sprinkle on the berries if desired.
